Analysis Reveals DOA6 Currently has the Worst Input Latency in Fighting Games
Analysis shows that Team Ninja's latest installment to the Dead or Alive series; Dead or Alive 6 currently has an input latency of 7.4 frames on the base PS4 and 7.8 frames on the PS4 PRO. In fact, the game currently ranks as the lowest ranked title when it comes to input lag. This flaw may be acceptable for casual gaming but its a totally different story when it comes to the competitive scene. For those who are not familiar with the issue, Tekken 7 which is rated as excellent has an input lag of 4.8 frames, as per Input Lag Database.

Digital Foundry also performed an in-depth analysis of the game by comparing all versions of the game. Although it shows performance drops and frame rate drops, it was noted that the game runs smoothly on the base PS4. Input latency is also mentioned during the analysis which is the same as the data from Input Lag Database.
