Following the multiple success of Capcom's recent titles that run on RE ENGINE, the company recently confirmed that they are on full-throttle in using their in-house engine in the development of future games as explained in their recent financial results briefing Q&A. The power of the engine was first seen in Resident Evil 7 is going to be their major tool in creating their next line-up of titles.

In addition to that, Capcom also confirmed that they will be exploring ways to provide "added value to players" in terms of eSports. This has been one of the company's focus as mentioned in its financial report. It was also indicated that the outcome this year's Capcom Pro Tour will be crucial to what the company will focus on moving forward. Capcom has been getting accolades for their RE ENGINE powered games like Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5. As of new games this year, Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion is by far the only confirmed title as of writing.
