SNK's weapon-based fighting game Samurai Shodown
will soon be making its way to both digital and retail stores. In line with the upcoming launch, the company has been unveiling each of the characters in the game's roster. In fact, the latest characters taking the spotlight are two of the game's ninjutsu experts, the titan Earthquake and the Iga Ninja Hanzo Hattori. Both characters were part of the first Samurai Shodown installment launched in 1993. With that out of the way let's take a quick overview of both characters.
First off is Iga Ninja Hanzo Hattori whose design inspired the creation of Galford. Hanzo is considered as the best fighter in his clan and is a master of the arts of Iga-ryū Ninjutsu. As far as his weapon goes, Hanzo is equipped with the usual ninja gear made up of ninjato, shurikens, and a variety of bombs. His other abilities include teleportation, Invisibility, and bone-breaking Koppojutsu.
Earthquake, on the other hand, is the largest character in the series so far and is a living proof that everything is bigger in Texas. His weapon of choice includes a Fujiyama and a giant Kusarigama. Earthquake is also a self=thought master of the Ninjutsu arts which means that he also has the ability to teleport. Samurai Shodown is scheduled to launch on June 27 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
