"Sega's spin-off has a few ideas of its own as it takes a detective's perspective on Kamurocho, though it all ends up feeling a little flat." -Eurogamer

Judgment is currently getting an average score of 82 from 51 critics with 90% of whom highly recommend the game for both new and veteran fans of the Yakuza series. Most of its accolades point to its strong narrative and over the top gameplay. However, the game to some critics fell short in its investigative/detective gameplay feature. It still has that serious Ryu Ga Gotoku underworld tint, but it's also still as ridiculous as ever. Destructoid 7.5
